Elephants eat peanuts, don’t they? Why is it such a challenge to connect with other church members? This book explores the myths surrounding mental health and how they can negatively impact one’s ability to connect with a church family. People share their personal stories of triumph and loneliness in the church as they struggled with mental health issues that no one understood. Stigmas are challenged and examined by combatting common misconceptions through both science and scripture so that we all can be more accepting and empathetic to our fellow Christians.
